In the movie Evan Almighty, ARK is.... A Random act of Kindness.  SimpLee Serene is committed to ARK’s on a daily basis and encourages others to do the same, simple ARK’s that you can do any time, any day, anywhere.  Here are just a few ideas:

• Thinking of a friend you haven’t seen in a while – write a nice little note and pop it in the mail letting them know you are thinking of them.
  
  
• Leave the quarter or dollar in the shopping cart.
  
  
• Give a compliment to the sales clerk at the checkout till – use their name!!
  
  
• Have little fridge magnets with inspirational sayings on hand – you never know when someone could benefit from it...

Generosity is not just about giving monetarily; it is also about giving of your time, energy and spirit.  A few ideas:

• Donate on a regular basis to a Charity close to your heart.
  
  
• Donate a product, service or gift to a charitable event.
  
  
• Sponsor a Charitable event.
  
  
• Talk with your child about asking for donations (clothing etc) for a charity instead of receiving gifts for their birthday.
  
  
• Volunteer at a Charitable event, a homeless shelter, food bank drives....
  
  
• MAKE the time to be there for a friend in need.

Pay It Forward .................................................................................
An incredible movie that tells the story of a young boy with a dream, Pay It Forward is about giving something with the intention of creating a movement of generosity.  A few ideas:

• That great book you just read, write your name in the front, pass it on to another person and explain to them once they have finished write their name in it and Pay It Forward.
  
  
• Give a person a compliment; ask them to Pay It Forward by giving another person a compliment.
  
  
• Friends Platter – bring a plate of fresh baked goods to a friend’s place, there are the plates you can purchase that has a great Pay It Forward verse on it – Rafters has them, ask them to Pay It Forward by giving another person the plate with fresh baked goods on it.
